Welcome one and all to my website!
My name is Abbi and I have been crocheting for several years. It all started with an episode of Paul O'Grady's For The Love Of Dogs, where some poor dogs who had lost all their fur had a little wardrobe of jumpers, all made by members of the public and I wanted to get involved!
On a visit to my Nan (who originally taught me to knit) she was adding crochet to the edges of her blankets! Of course I had to know more so, she showed me the basics and off I went!
After practising and watching countless YouTube videos I started making blankets for local dogs homes, toys for friends and anything I liked the look of!
My mum once said to me 'why don't you try and sell your work?' But, I didn't believe anyone would be interested in buying it so, I buried the idea.
Sadly, in 2018 I lost my mum and her words stayed with me. So, I set up a Facebook, Instagram and tiktok page and named it after her. Since then, I have been making all that you see on my page and trying to find new and interesting things to make! So if you have any suggestions then drop me a message!
So, that's it in a nutshell. How I ended up here, writing this to you. I hope you enjoy browsing through my items.
